If WSS means the Streets of Willow Springs track, then I think a 1:32 is s very nice time.  Go to the main Speed Ventures site and look at the Track Records link and also the Event Results link (both on left side) to see times from various cars at that track.

That's pretty good in your car, if you're talking SOWS. The S2000's would class below you and do run 1:30.xx's, however, so there's some improvement possible there. That and hotlap timers are really inaccurate. That time could have been a 1:33 or a 1:31 in reality.

YES This was test at Street of willow  with bowls and skippad Clockwise. MY target  time is  1.30.xx.I should just pratice more but   I hope I can put 4.3(stock4.1) final drive in my car. most of time I am using 2,3 gear in this track, and  some new pads(hawk blue now), that will be much easier to ger . OH BTW my car had NA engine

Fluxen I have Q  you said "hotlap timers are really inaccurate" Is this true? because a lot of people use it  and My friend  he has Hot lap timer and AMB too. There are no different between them ?

There are big differences between them Hotlap timers and AMB timers. Everyone uses Hotlap timers because they cost less than $500 for the full system and you're set. AMB systems start at $7,000 for a single transponder and the rest of the system, so you can see why individuals don't use them. Our system cost over $30k.

Anyway the AMB system is accurate to about .005 or so, and is used by NASCAR, CART, etc for that reason. Yet occasionally we have drivers with both an AMB transponder and a Hotlap timer in their car, and the hotlap says 1:28.6 say, and the AMB says it was a 1:30.125. I think the biggest drifference we've seen is about 1.5 seconds, but that's why I say hotlap timers aren't very accurate. They're better than using a stop watch, but there are reasons professional racing doesn't use them to time events, that's all.
