Here are a couple of videos of me in my Honda S2000 from SOW (big thanks to Ludedude [J.P.] and GoFastVideo.com for posting):
http://www.gofastvideo.com/gallery/item/pr...-sow-9-3-04.wmv
http://www.gofastvideo.com/gallery/item/pr...1/rl-passed.wmv
The first is my fastest lap just after I caught Sfphinkster napping drifting in the skidpad. The second is just for fun viewing, shows letting the Zetec formula car and then the Ferrari 360 Challenge car by then following a bit. J.P.'s description of "highly-prepped" means my car has stock engine & drivetrain with suspension, aero, and 235/275 RA1's, but was severely understeering (front tires corded by day's end).

For comparison, here is a video from the more flowing big track a few weeks earlier:

Suspension = fancy German engineered custom-valved megabuck shocks.

Nice vids Richard, your camera work is getting to be as good as your driving

Actually, shocks are Dutch engineered.

Dude, I just got around to watching that video, and Will owes you a beer (at least). He cost you at least .25 secs on that lap.

Also, first turn of the video, what was up with that? Looked like you were holding the car in tighter than necessary, resulting in your "catch".

Hey, just watched the last two. Keep an eye on your computer when you're capturing video; you're dropping frames, which is why you have those jumpy "edits" in your videos. Either your disk access may not be fast enough, your computer isn't fast enough, or you've got other things running on the computer slowing it down so it can't keep up with the captures.

It also makes your video times inaccurate; good thing you've got the trusty SV AMB timing to fall back on

That lap was my fastest at 1:29.9xx before the front tires went, so Will ruined my best lap.   FIrst turn I think I was just going too fast trying to catch Will.   Just got a new supercomputer so next ones should not skip frames.

His tires rubbing the fender liners under shock compression. Mr. Laifatt is "aggressive" with his ride-height

He definitely cost you time, fastest lap or not.

Ride height is actually stock despite the coilovers.  It rubs because the tires are too big (275's) , and offset not ideal.

Dude, the horn out of a 70's Beetle is way too substantial for an S2000
