Hello all, I'm thinking about going to Big Willow next event with my Rabbit, but I'm not sure my car is suitable for it and I don't want to become a rolling roadblock for other drivers.

My car is a silver 1983 VW Rabbit, with a decent suspension and race tires, but a 90 horsepower engine. The top speed is probably 100-105 mph.

I've raced a lot at the Streets of Willow Springs, and it is the perfect track, but i don't know if Big willow will be too fast for me.

Should I try it, or will I be a danger to other drivers?

It won't be a problem at all; there are all types of cars / performance levels at WSIR just as at any other track. It may not be the most exciting track in the world for you in your car, but you're more than welcome to drive it with us.

Ignore KB; he's our resident curmudgen if you don't know him.
