This car won the 2004 POC STS Championship for the spec-944 class (944GSR), and set the track record at the Streets of Willow (clockwise) it's first time in that direction.
I'm sad to sell this winning car, but I need the funds to support another v8 powered 944 project. These cars are great and the guys in the class are the best! For great competition and great comraderie, this is a tremendous class and a tremendous car to put you on the podium.
This car has had every performance modification allowed within the class, with the exception of the chip. This includes: (all with 9 or less track days on them) shaved head koni shocks all around front spring perches (adjustable) 400# front springs ground control camber plates 30mm rear torsion bar
weltmeister sway bars delrin torsion plate bushings delrin or poly bushings throughout suspension manual rack which replaced power one lsd - phantom grip short fifth gear stainless steel brake lines Hawk Black pads Slotted rotors - front straight-pipe (no cat) with glass pack exhaust
Additionally: new spring centered clutch all new engine seals replaced only 9 race-days ago (head gasket, cam-tower gasket, all front seals, oil pan gasket, all bottom seals) new timing belt new rod bearings new low temp fan switch new low temp thermostat new front tie rod linkage (incl. ends) mobil1 15/50w used always 6pt. custom weld-in cage with nascar door on driver's side and an X on passenger - seat back brace Ultrashield Rally Sport aluminum seat Ultrashield - top of the line padded harnesses (they're much more comfortable when strapped in) Momo steering wheel

With it's proven track results and full performance set-up, its new owner can know that they have the car necessary to run at the front...which leaves it up to the driver.
