I see an event on 02/18/05, http://www.speedventures.net/2-18-2005_event.asp

it shows Friday at top of the page.
It then shows "February 18th& 9th, 2005", which I am pretty sure is a typo
then under Event Info, it says"We'll be running the full track CW on Saturday, and CCW on Sunday."

so exactly what day is the event? is it 02/18 only? or 02/18 and 02/19? if so what day is running CW? and what day is running CCW?

it also says $120 One day, does it been $240 for both days, or cheaper on Friday? thanks !!

Yeah, I'm confused too. 'PrivateTrackDay' has told me that they are confirmed for the 18th. ??

It is confusing. Here's what happened: We had that date, then we picked up the Buttonwillow weekend the week after the SOWS date. We called the track asking them if we could possibly cancel the SOWS event, as we weren't sure about running both those events back to back. They never got back to us with an answer, so we figured the answer was a no.

After you guys brought this to our attention, we called them again today, and the track told us this other group wants the day, and they're TENATIVELY down for the 18th. So, now the track is telling us we can cancel it if we want, or keep the day; it's up to us. We're looking at whether we're just going to lose money on it if we keep the date, and should make a decision on it this week.

We are not charging any cards for this event yet, so if you're interested in it go ahead and sign up for it. We will not start charging cards for the event until we decide to go forward with the event.

Sorry about the confusion, and thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Ok, it turns out that Aaron had made some commitments about this event to some groups that I didn't know about, so we're committed to running this event. We are told that the track has informed the other group that SV is running the event, and that should be the end of the confusion.

still a little confused.  on the page it says:

Duration: 2 days 5 hours of track time per group!**

is that a typo?

"Price: $130 one day (Instruction included in School group, or + $30 per day in other groups)"

does this mean it is $160 per person if not running in School group? also what happens if we have 2 drivers per car, is it double that?  thanks.

2 days/5 hrs is a typo; so you get 2.5 hrs track time for this 1 day event.  Schedule is here... http://www.speedventures.net/schedule_sos.asp

Instruction adds $30 (to the $130 fee) UNLESS already in the school group.

Costs are per driver, not per car.

Thanks, Steve. Damn, I thought I'd fixed all the errors on that event page

If you have 2 drivers per car *and* they're going to share the same run group (meaning each will get 1.25 hours of time on track), then it's just $50 to add a second driver. If you're going to drive in two different run groups, then it's full price per each driver.
