What do you guys think of the idea of the Governator? Can he handle the job? Should he be taken seriously?

Now, since Rob Lowe is his confirmed running mate --  we know we're gonna be in good hands.

I wouldn't vote for Arnold.  I like his movies, but I don't see him as having the least bit of qualification to run a state, especially a state that is the world's 6th largest economy.  Even though I have the utmost respect for Warren Buffet, being able to make personal billions also does not qualify you to fiscally run a state because this is about people, and not a business.

People say that Arnold will be good because he is rich and can't be bought.  Do you really believe that?  You know what they say; "you can never be too rich or too powerful."  There are multibillionaires in this world that still want as much more as they can get, not to mention the power.  Saddam had billions, he could have just gone and lived out the rest of his life in exile, but instead he lost it all.  Power never relinquishes power without a fight.

Your assessment is too cut and dry for me. The state needs to run more like a business; there's a balance there. And to say it's about people and not business, well, business is all about people, whether it's customers or employees. All the talk about businesses leaving CA for NV because of the business climate here is no bullshit. I know business owners who've moved their companies to NV just to save the cost of insurance in CA alone. The savings in 2 months paid for the cost of moving the business. That's a powerful statement. Without business you don't have jobs, so it all comes back to the people.
