Hey John: That was a suggestion for YOUR motto. But, since you're upgrading the trophies this year, I guess it doesn't apply anymore (well, at least the trophy size doesn't apply anymore).

As we saw on a shirt at Indy: "SpeedVentures...because going around in circles is boring", or something like that. Or, how about "SpeedVentures...because driving in circles or a straight line is boring."?

The barrister in NK, huh? As I understand it there's not a lot of call for lawyers 'round those parts...
No update yet. Aaron, of course, had the "perfect contact" to get the good shirts made at good prices, but he's promptly lost the info. We're looking for a new source for shirts now

I'm in for a couple xl's. I like the wasted money joke too. a buddy of mine makes shirts, pretty nice ones, and if you want I could put you in touch with him. shipping costs may eliminate the benefit though. lemme know.

Thanks, RG, but I found the place after all, and I think you're right about shipping being an issue.
Ok, found the shop, having the artwork changed this week; who knows, may have the shirts by Pahrump! (but not promising it!)

Next you should make some kind of patch that can go on the racing suits in case we get TV-interviewed on the podium.

Sorry, but nope, won't have the shirts at Pahrump. I didn't like the "phase 1" artwork changes, so we're going back and making some more slight changes. The shirts have to be perfect, damnit!

Probably too late to get this one on the shirt, but I thought I'd post it anyway. (Just saw it at an NSX site)

When I'm playing, golf requires 5 or 6 balls.

That's OK, many of those who've seen me at the track insist I'm only using one...

I think most people in CA know this, but just an to update those who may not. We did have a huge run of shirts printed, months and months ago. Aaron, however, in an act of unilateral hubris, made some changes we hadn't mentioned in this thread, printing them on yellow/orangish and green shirts, no white ones. Because this was an unannounced change, I wasn't going to fill people's orders on this thread until they saw them in person, so we just sold them at events.
They all have the Ernest Hemingway quote on them, and look like this:
Well...hell, I can't find any pictures of the yellow or green shirts now...I'll edit this post later with some pics, unless someone happens to post some before I get back to it.
Then there is the "special limited edition" SV romper:
However, at this point we've sold out of all the popular sizes in the shirts, so we're about to do another print run of shirts. We're probably going to do a set of "normal" SV shirts in the mustard color we did the special Lancer shirts in:
And another set of white shirts, as well as perhaps a royal blue. We're talking about colors now, so feel free to give input if you like.

How about this?
"Why race cars?
Because golf and tennis only require one ball."
